Hi!
Sorry it’s been so long since my last post…but I’ve been very busy with my new baby!
Yup, Chloe was born on March 3rd and she’s doing great. She’s sleeping at the moment, so I’ll write fast…
For those of you who remember Lauren Myracle’s Halloween challenge (which I failed), I’ve finally changed diapers. Many, many diapers. I’d put up a picture as proof, but I think I’ll leave it to your imagination. (And I can’t imagine Chloe would appreciate having her behind on the net). Truthfully, the diaper thing is not as bad as I thought it would be. After being a novelist for eight years–a job that includes constant rewriting, long-term planning, and never completing a project until three years later, it’s refreshing to have a task that can be completed in two minutes. First dirty, now clean!
P.S. I will no longer be updating the livejournal blog–If you’re on livejournal, you can follow this blog there: http://smlynowski.livejournal.com
A second piece of happy news: GIMME A CALL, the novel I just finished writing for Random House, has just been optioned by Paramount! Meaning…it might become one day become a movie. Hopefully. You can read about it the deal in Variety, right here:

Andy Fickman, the fab director of Race to Witch Mountain is attached to direct and produce.
I will let you guys know more as soon as I do! And of course, if I hear anything about auditions I’ll post the info here. But I probably will not here anything about them. Sorry, that’s how Hollywood works!
Baby waking up…gotta run!
